"Integrating Catalyst Advances with Reactor Process Technologies" Conference & Exhibition" May 13-14, 2004, Omni Houston Hotel, Houston, Texas, USA Dear Colleagues: The Catalyst Group Resources (a member of The Catalyst Group) is pleased to announce MetCon2004 Twelfth Annual Conference & Exhibition, scheduled to be held May 13-14, 2004 at the Omni Hotel in Houston, Texas USA. Our annual conference features the most recent technical and commercial developments in metallocene and single-site catalysts (SSCs) for polymerization, with an emphasis this year on the challenges associated with integrating these advances into commercial reactor process technologies. The conference will feature successful integration efforts by industry leaders, novel or modified reactor process technologies for the manufacture of polymers, and emerging catalysts which are being evaluated for scale-up. This year's conference theme is "Integrating Catalyst Advances with Reactor Process Technologies." Beyond this focus, this year's MetCon2004 will maintain its tradition of featuring advancements in metallocenes, SSCs and related polymerization catalysts based on early and late transition metals, for both commodity polyolefins and specialty polymers. The event remains an essential meeting for catalyst chemists, polymer scientists, process engineers, business managers and executives involved in the polymer industry. Catalyst manufacturers, resin producers, process licensors and end-users/fabricators will all benefit from attending. In addition, we continue to update and expand our popular workshop which will be offered as a lead-in to the conference. Now entitled "The Metallocene & Single-Site Catalyst Short Course: From Fundamentals to Post-Metallocene Systems," this one-day course has been refocused to provide an intensive review of both traditional metallocene and developing single-site organometallic chemistries, including the latest on both early and late transition metal complexes. We look forward to another success in the MetCon conference series and hope that you will be a part of it. For more information contact: The Catalyst Group Resources' Conference Department |
